The falcata design echoed here is one of the best chopping designs in history and our Cobra is no different. True all purpose function for the real outdoorsman, the Windlass Cobra Steel Falcata knife features a hand-forged X46Cr13 high grade stainless steel blade which has been fully tempered in state-of-the-art computer controlled ovens. This also makes it super tough and weather resistant when battling the great outdoors. Hardened to a Rockwell of 48°, it will flex in a cut and come back for more the way a knife should. Nothing fancy, just tried and true function. Features weather resistant rubber handle for comfort, positive grip and shock absorption, giving great one hand performance while absorbing shock. The grip is purposefully longer than most machetes for a second hand hold when extra chopping power is needed. Experience the difference a Cobra can make!
